The object of this document is to consolidate in one guide, entities that are classified as GSF
agencies for the purposes of the GSF Act.
The guide identifies:
the entity’s Class (i.e. the relevant category under s 2.4 of the GSF Act, please refer to Key),
the Relevant Legislation of the entity, and
the entity’s Accountable Authority.
Instructions for this list
To keep this list up to date and useful, agencies are to:
notify Treasury of any new GSF agencies,
(note: under the GSF Act, an Accountable Authority has an obligation to notify the Treasurer
and the Auditor-General of any new GSF agencies within one month after the entity becomes
a GSF agency (refer s 2.8(1) of the GSF Act).
notify Treasury of any GSF agencies abolished/dissolved, and
provide any other updates (e.g. change of name, or status) in relation to GSF agencies in the
list.

Disclaimer: This list is intended as an indicative guide to the entities which are GSF agencies
under the GSF Act. It is not intended to be a definitive list and the agencies should continue to have
regard to the definition of ‘GSF agency’ used in the Act itself and obtain appropriate legal advice
when in doubt.
